Sorry Dan, altering the date via terminal was a lost of time. It didn't work for me. What did work was using a bootable usb. In a friend's Mac, download the desired OS installer (High Sierra in my case for my MacBook Pro Late 2011 - google 'How to Download a Full macOS High Sierra Installer App') and create the bootable USB, HDD or even SSD with Disk Creator (2 steps very friendly freeware. Click Get, click Install App, enter your Apple ID and password in the Apple ID and Password fields in the Sign in to download from the App Store box respectively, click Sign In, enter the same. Since i downloaded and tried to install 10.11.1 on my late 2011 MacBook Pro I have been unable to boot my laptop. I therefor wish to reinstall 10.11.0 via a USB drive as other options don't work. Does anybody know where i can find the installer as i can't find it in the App Store on my other laptop. Kind regards, Pim.
